Dr. Juliana Millán Torres (ella/she)
Academic and Clinical Experience:
I obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of Puerto Rico - Rio Piedras Campus, a Master of Science in Clinical Psychology and a Doctorate of Clinical Psychology both at Albizu University - Miami Campus. My clinical experiences in various regions of South Florida and Colorado allowed me to work with individuals from diverse cultural groups. I enjoy serving people across the lifespan through individual and group therapy modalities. I have served at outpatient medical, school, non-profit, and community-based settings. I've also completed post-graduate trainings with Fluence Training and facilitate Psychedelic Harm Reduction/Preparation and Integration Therapy.
My Therapeutic Approach:
I serve through a Humanistic lens which holds that trust, acceptance, openness, congruence and meeting the person where they are at are essential in facilitating improved mental health. I have found that a collaborative therapeutic relationship promotes significant healing and transformation. My intentions are that through therapy I welcome you into a safe environment, foster a supportive relationship and hold space for you while we work through your struggles together in order to help you reach your goals.
It is always an honor to walk beside you.
